| Welcome to our
forum. Just
a little disclaimer to let everyone know the ground rules while on the
forum,
and a little information to let you know where we are coming
from.
Technically there aren't any house-rules. This forum will be
virtually
free from any real editing, as long as the swearing doesn't get out of
hand.
You can pretty much say whatever you like. Bare in mind however,
this
is a public forum. None of the views expressed are to be
associated
in any way with any organization or individual beyond the person
expressing
them. They are simply views. So anything that is said on
this
forum will be a direct reflection on nothing more than yourself.
However, this Forum is going
to
be a little different. Beyond the complete change in name to
Martial
Fusion, and function of the website, we wanted this forum to be
different
then any forum on the net. We decided after much discussion at
our
recent jam-session to try to create the best of both worlds. Our
last
couple of forum ideas didn't work well, mostly because we forgot why we
are
here in the first place. We originally got together to work
out
in a non-formal setting and perpetuate Kenpo in it's purest form,
physically
manifested. We soon realized that we, each of us in our group,
have
a knack for creating methods and equipment that weren't typical.
Since
we had a couple of artists, lots of availability for R&D, and a
vision,
we thought we'd run with it. And now we have Martial Fusion, with
merchandise
for martial artists, by martial artists. After completely
reinvented
ourselves, we thought we'd start fresh with the new forum.
Now that we have
returned to this vision,
our forum is going to serve two goals. First, our forum is for
all
of us at Martial Fusion to keep everyone informed of the things that
are
in the works. We plan on it being much more real time then our
updates
section. Everything from our merchandise to our associate sites
as
well, will be covered on the forum and mentioned as upcoming
projects.
And second, to talk shop, or Kenpo, so to speak. Granted, we will
be
covering more martial arts conversations then strict American Kenpo,
given
the theme of the merchandise we create. In the end, our only rule
would
be to leave your attitude at the door, keep an open mind, and no matter
what
style, system, branch, or whatever you are from, be ready to talk shop
and
have a good time.
